1. Charge the robot fully before first use. Plug the charger into the robot first, then into a 100–240 V supply, and refit the charging port cover before the robot goes in the water.
2. Switch the power on, press the button to choose the cleaning mode, then rotate the dial to align the arrow with the cleaning time you want.
3. Place the robot in the pool within 3 minutes of setting it, or it will enter sleep mode. Make sure it is fully submerged and turn it in all directions to release trapped air; it starts cleaning when it touches the floor.
4. At the end of the cycle the robot self-parks at the pool side. Use the supplied hook to catch the handle, lift the robot out and drain the water before lifting it clear.
5. Clean the filter basket after every cycle — wear gloves and avoid rubbing the filter mesh with bare hands.

Operating limits from Moov: water depth 3.3–8.2 ft (the robot stops automatically below 16 in), water temperature 39–95 °F, pH 7.0–7.8, salt 5000 ppm max, chlorine 4 ppm max. Runtime may be reduced below 59 °F. Moov asks that the robot be fully charged at least every three months in storage.

Moov states a complete 3-year warranty on parts and labour for the Reliant. Warranty begins at the time of purchase; where commissioning is delayed the shipping date must be documented for the warranty to start at commissioning. Moov excludes claims where the battery seal has been damaged by an unauthorised service station, or where the battery has been overcharged with a non-specified power adapter. Only the original charger may be used — any other charger voids the warranty.
