Storage
Keep the material dry and in a dry area. Store in the original container, retie the polyethylene liner and keep the container tightly closed. Store where temperatures do not exceed 52 °C (125 °F) for 24 hours. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage.
Incompatible materials
Do not get water inside the container — wet material may generate nitrogen trichloride, an explosion hazard, and contact with water forms sulphuric acid. Incompatible with easily oxidizable organic material; ammonia, urea or similar nitrogen-containing compounds; inorganic reducing compounds; calcium hypochlorite; alkalis; acids; water; lime; aluminium and its alloys; carbonates; bicarbonates; strong oxidizers; zinc and its alloys; and metal nitrates. Contact with acids liberates toxic gas.
