Personal Protective Equipment

• Hands: gloves appropriate for the task — rubber gloves recommended.
• Eyes: safety glasses with side shields or chemical goggles.
• Body: cotton-blend coveralls.
• Feet: impervious boots.
• Respiratory: in dusty atmospheres (>10 mg/m³), a NIOSH-approved dust respirator.

Safe Handling

Avoid dust cloud formation. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the work location.

Storage

The material is hygroscopic and will readily absorb moisture. Do not store dry product where exposed to moist conditions. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible materials. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.

Incompatible Materials

Reactive or incompatible with oxidizing materials, acids and alkalis. Do not mix dry or concentrated solutions of this product with concentrated solutions of chlorine bleach, ammonia cleansers or similar products.
