MOOV JUSTSALT POOL SALT SYSTEM FOR 85K L

$2,199.00
  • Brand: Moov

Salt pools allow independent and effective water quality control for all pools. Less time maintaining the pool means more time to use it! The Moov Justsalt is a new generation hybrid salt system that comes with the accessory holder and various probes. Take advantage of data recorded throughout the season from your pool for a quick and simplified diagnosis of the quality of your water — track your pool’s temperature, salt level, cell life and pH level in real time (pH probe optional). Whether you prefer to operate in Normal Salt (3000 ppm) or Low Salt (1500 ppm), the Justsalt is a hybrid system that allows you to operate in both settings.

Key Features
  • Hybrid Normal Salt / Low Salt operation — run the pool at 3000 ppm (Normal Salt) or 1500 ppm (Low Salt); the setting is selected in the controller.
  • Real-time data — water temperature, salt level, cell life and pH level (pH reading requires the optional MCPH pH probe).
  • Bluetooth control — take remote control and access your pool’s features and data directly via the ePool mobile application (Android and Apple). The system records the last 6 months of data.
  • Self-cleaning cell — self-cleaning by polarity inversion limits the creation of calcium and so extends cell life. Inversion frequency is adjustable from 2 to 24 hours to match your water hardness.
  • Real-time cell life — the system reports the exact remaining life of the cell, so a replacement is never a surprise.
  • Plug & Play accessory holder — supplied with a salt sensor, a water temperature sensor, a grounding anode for extra protection against corrosion, and a position for the optional pH sensor.
  • Boost mode — raises production to as much as 125 % for a 12 or 24 hour period, then returns to the previous setpoint.
  • Flow safety — a flow sensor stops chlorine production when there is no water flow through the cell.
How to Use
  1. Disconnect the filtration pump and all AC power before starting. The control unit must be at least 1.5 m horizontally from the pool (or more, per local regulations).
  2. Mount the control unit vertically on a flat wall with the cables pointing down. Keep all four sides clear — do not install it behind a panel or in an enclosed space, and keep containers of treatment chemicals at least 2 m from any electrical equipment.
  3. Install the cell horizontally with the electrodes facing down, or vertically, so that water cannot collect around them. The electrical connections at the cell must never face upwards.
  4. The in-line cell is plumbed into 2 in. pipe (cut the pipe to 236 mm / 9 3/8 in.); reducers are used where the pipe is 1 1/2 in. Sand, glue and dry the collars, grease and fit the seals, then hand-tighten the two nuts onto the cell.
  5. Fit the accessory holder the right way round, following the “›››” (flow direction) and “UP ↑” markings, with the salt / temperature / water shortage sensor at the top. Every accessory has its own position — swapping them can permanently damage the equipment.
  6. Connect only to a grounded receptacle protected by a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). Do not use an extension cord and do not bury the cable.
  7. Power up. After about a minute production starts automatically, following the setpoint shown on screen. Set the salinity mode (NS or LS), the production setpoint (10–100 %) and the current inversion frequency for your water hardness.

Winterizing. Turn off the power to prevent damage to the electronic unit. Blow the water out of the water circuit including the cell. Remove the electronic unit by disconnecting the flow sensor, power supply, grounding, salt / temperature sensor and the connectors on the cell. If a pH probe is fitted, follow the specific procedure for winterizing the probe. Store the unit in a shed or in your home to protect it from winter weather.

Warranty

Moov states a 3 year warranty on the cell and the system for the Justsalt. Before contacting your dealer, have your purchase invoice, the serial number of the electronics unit, the installation date and your pool parameters (salinity, pH, chlorine level, water temperature, stabilizer level, pool volume and daily filtration time) to hand.

Additional Information

The Justsalt is Moov’s upper salt system: it adds Bluetooth control through the ePool app, real-time readings of temperature, salt level and cell life, an accessory holder with the sensors pre-installed, a 10–100 % production setpoint and a 3 year warranty. The Minisalt covers the same three pool volumes with a simpler two-key controller, no app and a 2 year warranty. The MCPH pH probe is an option on the Justsalt only and is sold separately.
