Moov MCF cartridge filters use reusable, reinforced polyester filter cartridge elements to provide a high degree of water clarity and long filter cycles with minimum care. Moov specifies replacement of the element when, after cleaning, the filter pressure is 25 psi higher than the initial start reading or the gauge reads over 40 psi, when the element is broken or its layer peels off, or when pressure or flow rate falls below the system's desired rate.

How to Use

Turn off all system circulation pumps and all electrical power at the equipment pad, and set system valves so water cannot flow to the filter.
Open the air relief valve and remove the filter drain plug so the water drains out.
Depress the latch and unscrew the lock ring counter-clockwise, then lift off the upper filter body — do not lift it by the pressure gauge.
Lift out the old cartridge element and fit the new one.
Fit the sealing O-ring on the lower body, centre the upper body on it, refit the lock ring and tighten. Do not use petroleum solvents on filter components and do not lubricate the sealing O-ring; replace it if damaged.
Follow the filter's start-up procedure, then record the new clean start pressure on the gauge.
