1. The heat pump must be installed by a professional technician — depending on region this may be an HVAC technician or an electrician. Installing it otherwise voids the warranty.
2. Install outdoors in a well-ventilated location, with the frame bolted (M10) to a solid concrete foundation or a strong, rust-treated bracket.
3. Leave at least 50 cm clear behind the unit and keep nothing stacked near the air inlet or outlet, or heating efficiency will drop or stop.
4. A separate circulation pump is required (supplied by the user); refer to the water flow figure above, with a maximum lift of at least 10 m.
5. Fit the supplied drainage nozzle into the hole under the unit and pipe the condensation away.
6. Always start the pump before the heat pump, and turn the heat pump off before the pump. The blower runs 3 minutes before the compressor on start-up.
7. If the unit is stopped for a long period or over winter, cut off the power supply and drain the water out of the machine by opening the inlet pipe tap.

Moov states 3 years labour, 3 years parts and 5 years on the heat exchanger. The warranty begins at the time of purchase and is valid only on first install. Moov will not approve claims for heat exchangers broken by improper winterisation, damage from meteorological "act of god" events, units not installed by an appropriate technician, or dissatisfaction with efficiency.
