1. Place the empty tank in position, then fill it with water to a level that covers the laterals (about 1/3 of tank height) so the laterals are not damaged when the sand is poured in.
2. Pour in the recommended amount of sand, keeping the centre-pipe centred and vertical, then level the sand surface.
3. Remove the sand fill cover, clear all sand from the valve mounting surface, fit the O-ring and lower the multiport valve onto the centre-pipe. Fit the clamp set and tighten — do not over-tighten.
4. Start-up: set the valve to Backwash and run the pump for at least 2 minutes once flow out of the waste line is steady.
5. Turn the pump off, set the valve to Rinse, start the pump and run about ½ to 1 minute until the sight glass is clear.
6. Turn the pump off, set the valve to Filter and restart. Note the initial clean pressure gauge reading for future reference.
7. Backwash when the gauge reads about 25 psi, or 50% above the clean reading. Always turn the pump off before moving the valve handle.

Moov states a 5-year decreasing (progressive) warranty on the tank and 1 year on parts.

Winterising: backwash for at least thirty minutes, then remove the drain cap at the base of the tank and leave it off for the winter. Set the control valve handle between RINSE and FILTER to let air into the tank, and unscrew the pressure gauge and store it indoors.
