How to Use

Directions published by the manufacturer for a bromine hot tub:

  1. At start-up, fill your tablet dispenser with 5–6 brominating tablets for hot tubs and adjust the opening to maintain a continuous level of 3.0–5.0 ppm bromine through the week.
  2. Each week, re-fill the tablet dispenser with 5–6 tablets to keep a bromine reading of 3.0–5.0 ppm.

Target water balance for a bromine hot tub: bromine 3.0–5.0 ppm, pH 7.4–7.6, Total Alkalinity 100–120 ppm. Always read and follow the product label, which takes precedence over any guidance here.
