Personal Protective Equipment

• Hands: protective gloves.
• Eyes: chemical splash goggles. Wash eyes with clean water where there is potential eye contact.
• Body: protective clothing to prevent skin contact.
• Feet: protective footwear.
• Respiratory: an officially approved respirator equipped with a chemical cartridge for protection against chlorine gas and dust.

Safe Handling

Eating, drinking and smoking should be prohibited in areas where this material is handled, stored and processed. Wash hands and face before eating, drinking and smoking. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.

Storage

Separate from reducing agents and combustible materials. Keep the container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabelled containers. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from incompatible materials.
