Polaris' most popular pressure pool cleaner, the Polaris Vac-Sweep® 280 pressure-side pool cleaner works in all in-ground pools and requires a booster pump. It is powered by double jets, providing greater vacuum power and faster cleaning — 3 hours or less. It sweeps, scrubs and vacuums the bottom and walls of your pool, and its single chamber filter bag captures leaves, acorns, pebbles and other small-to-large debris before they reach your pump basket or filter.

This item is the cleaner only. The Vac-Sweep 280 runs off a dedicated pressure line and requires a booster pump, which is a separate unit and is not included here. Polaris specifies a target wheel speed of 28–34 RPM for optimal performance. Related variants exist that are NOT this item: the Black Max™ model for dark-bottom pools and the TankTrax model for hard-to-reach areas.
