Regal®’s Canadian Pool Care Guide states: “The pool should be tested weekly with a total alkalinity of 80-120 ppm (parts per million) maintained.” and “To raise total alkalinity, follow the label directions on Regal® Alka Plus.”

• “This product is not classified as hazardous according to the Globally Harmonized System.” Use with adequate ventilation.
• Storage: “Store in a cool, dry place away from acids.”
• Conditions to avoid: heat, humidity and strong odours.
• Incompatible materials: acids. The SDS notes it “reacts with acids to release carbon dioxide gas and heat.” Never mix this product with pH reducer or any other pool chemical — add each product to the water separately.
