Safety, handling and storage (from the Regal ALG OUT 60 Canadian Safety Data Sheet, issued 23 April 2024)

  • Signal word: WARNING. H302 — Harmful if swallowed. H400 — Very toxic to aquatic life.
  • “Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.”
  • Storage: “Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible materials.” The SDS gives a freezing point below 0°C, so protect from freezing in winter storage.
  • “Do not reuse empty containers without commercial cleaning or reconditioning. Empty containers retain product residue and can be dangerous.”
  • Incompatible materials: none known. Even so, never mix this product with other pool chemicals in a container — add each to the pool water separately.
