• Removes dirt, scale, rust, body oils and cosmetic residues from pool filters
• Suitable for sand and cartridge filters, and for DE filter grids

The following are Regal’s own directions, quoted from the Regal® Canadian Pool Care Guide.

• Sand filters: “Sand filters should be cleaned at least every season with Regal® Filter Cleaner.”
• Cartridge filters: “Then soak the elements(s) in Regal® Filter Cleaner for at least 12 hours.”
• DE filters: “DE filter grids should be cleaned at least once every season using Regal® Filter Cleaner.”

Regal does not publish a dilution ratio for this product online. Follow the dilution and contact-time directions printed on the container label.

Safety and handling (from the Regal Filter Cleaner Canadian Safety Data Sheet, issued 5 June 2024)

• Signal word: DANGER. H318 — Causes serious eye damage. H290 — May be corrosive to metals. H412 — Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
• Avoid breathing vapours, mist or spray. Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing. Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking.
• Storage: keep container closed when not in use. Store in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extremely high or low temperatures. Store in a corrosive-resistant container with a resistant inner liner.
• Incompatible materials: strong acids, strong bases, strong oxidizers and metals. Never mix this product with other pool chemicals.
